MyLand Inspired Youth Sector Event

Norfolk has a huge range of industries, farms, organisations and businesses that work on the land or care for it in some way. These industries cover a diverse range of skills and jobs many of which appeal to students across the county.

MyLand is an exciting careers event that brings together rural organisations from across the county. It’s a great opportunity for students to meet these organisations, but more importantly, find out about the roles that are available within this growing sector.

MyLand covers:

  • Agriculture
  • Land Conservation
  • Animal Care
  • Ground keeping
  • Pest Control
  • Broads Conservation, and much more.

MyLand takes place at Redwings, Aylsham on the 12th March 2019. The event has been designed to give an insight into careers in various land based industries, and specifically the opportunity to meet, talk to and explore opportunities to work with local employers.

As one of our supporting employers you’ll be participating in speed networking sessions with students. You’ll have your own space with room to display a rollerbanner to promote your business. Your job will be to inform and inspire by talking about:

  • Your organisation
  • Your role, how you got into it and what training you needed
  • Other roles within your organisation
  • Roles within the wider sector
  • Work experience opportunities with your organisation or the wider industry, how to find them and how to apply
  • Potential career routes into your sector
