Get Involved – Employers

Inspired Youth’s projects offering an amazing opportunity for local employers to work with young people. With such a broad selection of projects, covering a wide range of industries, getting involved in the local community has never been easier.

Inspired Youth’s projects are accessible to individuals and small businesses, right through to major national organisations with a local presence in the region.

IGNITE! Enterprise Days

Over 20 events per year run across East Anglia, these one day events are aimed at inspiring young minds into the world of business. As one of up to 20 mentors taking place during these events, you can commit from 1 hour to the whole day.  For more information on getting involved in IGNITE! click here

Inspired Women

These 8 session programmes are aimed at raising the confidence and aspirations of young women. Run over 8 weeks, each session last about 1 hour, with a group of up to 4 local professional women supporting each school. The commitment is to attend every other session, so just 4 hours over 8 weeks. Full training and DBS checks are provided to all supporting mentors.  For more information on Inspired Women mentoring programme click here

Careers Events

Inspired Youth runs a variety of careers events both in schools, and regional wide sector careers events. These one day activities are open to hundreds of young people in the region, giving them direct access to local employers looking to inspire young people into their industry. Most activities run either for half a day or a full day.

 

 

 

 

 

‘Invest’

As well as supporting individual projects, Inspired Youth is now offering tailored opportunities for employers to engage in the local community. ‘Invest’ is an exciting approach to help organisations be more involved with young people.

Invest‘Invest’ is aimed at those organisations looking to

  • Support and be involved in the local community
  • and for those who feel responsible to support the skills/youth employment agenda locally

Staff Development

As part of your annual staff development and appraisals, consider incorporating staff involvement across a variety of projects to develop individual’s needs.

Development meetings

A chance for Inspired Youth to visit you and explain the various projects that your organisation can get involved in. From here a calendar of activity can be created to engage your staff and promote your brand involvement.

Internal Comms pack

Inspired Youth will work with you to support your internal comms to your staff, supporting the creation of content for your notice board, internal emails or intranet.

 

Bespoke approach

‘Invest’ offers a range of levels of support for organisations including supporting individuals development needs on activities, branding opportunities, promotion of youth recruitment materials and youth recruitment opportunities, introductions to contacts within the Inspired Youth community.
