Ambassador

Inspired Youth Ambassadors – Voluntary Vacancies (paid networking expenses) 

Inspired Youth currently has a team of Ambassadors who represent us at various events across the region. These voluntary roles are vital in helping us to connect with the local business community in areas where we are delivering activities.

The work falls into two area:

  • To attend networking events on our behalf and to connect with local employers and stakeholders.
  • To support our events running in the region, and to host potential supporters of our work at these events.

 

 Inspired Youth will fund networking fees, subject to prior agreement. Please note that there is no payment for travel or time.

We are currently looking for Ambassadors to help us with the following areas;

 

  • Norwich
  • North Norfolk
  • Thetford
  • Yarmouth
  • Lowestoft

Inspired Youth Vacancies

 

Project Delivery Officer – Paid £18,000-£20,000 pro rata part-time role for 16-20 hours

Inspired Youth runs a variety of activities in schools from Junior School age through to Post 16. Many of our projects that we deliver at Key Stages 2 and 3 are run in schools, where our role is to facilitate activities that bring together young people and local employers.

We have a vacancy for a Project Delivery Officer, which is a part-time role for 16-20 hours term time only, plus 4 weeks admin and planning (40 weeks)

The successful candidate will have the following;

  • Be experienced or qualified to HLTA or cover supervisor status.
  • Have the ability to lead activities with young people.
  • Have high expectations of children’s behaviour and attainment.
  • Be committed to developing young people, and broadening their horizons irrespective of background or capability.
  • Be creative and have the interest to develop new activities and continually evolve our activities to meet the needs of the young people, the schools and businesses involved.

Inspired Youth Vacancies

 

Recruitment/IAG Officer – Paid £20,000 – £24,000

Inspired Youth has recently secured a contract to support the delivery of traineeships in the local area. This work will include recruiting and engaging with both young people and local employers to facilitate the successful placement of young people into further opportunities.

Alongside this contract, Inspired Youth already engages in a number of career-based activities from Junior School through to Post 16. This role will provide support across a range of activities supporting both young people and our network of employers.

We have a vacancy for a Recruitment/IAG Officer, which is a full-time role, 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will have the following;

  • Essential: Level 3 Education training qualification
  • Desirable: Level 3 IAG or equivalent
  • Desirable: Level 3 Assessing vocationally related achievement
  • Have a proven track record of recruitment of both employers and young people to support work related learning activities.
  • Have the ability to lead activities with young people.
  • Have high expectations of young people’s behaviour and attainment.
  • Be committed to developing young people, and broadening their horizons irrespective of background or capability.
  • Be creative and have the interest to develop new activities and continually evolve our activities to meet the needs of the young people, the schools and businesses involved.

Marketing Executive – Paid £18,000 – £23,000

Inspired Group

The Inspired Group consists of Inspired Change consultancy business and Inspired Youth social enterprise. It also includes social projects, Inspired Women and Inspired 2 run, with plans to launch Inspired Academy in 2018.

The employment for this role will be through Inspired Change consultancy

The Work

As a Marketing Executive your main role will fall into 3 clear objectives to support the group.

  • Connect us with the business community
  • Promote all of our work to the wider community through social media and online marketing, and business networking.
  • Help the Inspired Group entities grow, including being part of the team, and growing our operations in the region.

 

Your everyday responsibilities would include:

Connecting with the business community

  • Attend business network events in Norfolk and into Suffolk to raise the profile of the group’s activities and meet local business connections. Be our face at networking events.
  • Search for opportunities to promote Inspire Change’s activities in the area
  • Be part of the research team developing the Inspired Academy
  • Find business volunteers to fill Inspired Youth events, where possible matching business volunteers to appropriate projects i.e location or industry
  • Part of the team organising events, specifically those aimed to raise the profile of Inspired Youth within the business community such as ‘On Board’, Celebration Evening, Charity Challenges, supporting My Community Projects, and any conferences.

 

Raising our profile through social media

  • Maintain all social media accounts across all platforms
  • Create a social media comms plans to support our year round work
  • Promote our outcomes to a wider audience on social media
  • Create PR content to report on our events, before, during and after and to push this out through social media
  • Increasing our online followers with those that are relevant to our work

 

Help the Inspired Group grow

  • Actively be part of the Inspired Group team to explore opportunities to grow, and make sure our projects and activities are delivered to the best possible level, achieving the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders.
